5’10” Fetch

Description

The Fetch is a classic fish outline developed from the first wooden surfboard that James constructed. A classic fish at sub-6’, it is a higher volume surfboard to improve paddling speed and facilitate catching waves, and has a fairly straight rail line through the middle of the board and a pulled in, more progressive tail template and flat rocker for speed once up and riding. A classic small to medium wave board, we recommend twin keel fins to give you a fast board that turns on a dime.

5’10” x 20¾” x 2¾” – 32.6 l

Best ridden as a twin fin.

From £3,600.00

“Possibly one of the fastest fishes I have ever surfed.  Pure rail to rail, the weight coupled with the fairly flat nose rocker cuts through the bad sections and puts you on the clean faces really quickly.  I really felt that I saw a lot more of the wave than I would usually.”

Karl Mackie, Cornwall

With a low continuous rocker and full front end, there is plenty of volume under your chest to aid paddling and wave catching. Then, when you’re up and riding, that low rocker couples with a single to double concave to give you incredible speed that is so much fun to control by transferring from rail to rail.

The more rounded tail template provides you with great manoeuvrability and control too, and invites you to put the board on rail and sweep through turns.

To squeeze a little extra volume into the board, you’ll notice a beaked nose and the thickness of the board being brought right out towards the rails.
