Our hollow wooden surfboards ride differently to foam, as you may expect. Typically, they are sligthly heavier, stronger and more buoyant. For this reason, they suit classic retro shapes such as mals, eggs and fish. These shapes do not rely on flex to create drive, but plane and glide across waves effortlessly, engouraging graceful rail to rail surfing. Thier weight transfers to down the line speed while the buoyancy keeps your wave count high.
Our handplanes give you a new way to enjoy the waves. Body surfing with extra planing speed and projection allows you to trim quickly and pull into fun little barrels.
